About

“The Social Ingredient” Blog began from the encouragement of my friends and colleagues because I love to share my excitement about food from local restaurants. The name of the blog came about because I enjoy socializing with family, friends and strangers. And I feel that “food” is the social ingredient that becomes the highlight of most gatherings. I am also new to blogging so I feel that this new form of expression will be good for me and serve as a different type of social outlet. I look forward to sharing and reading blogs of others in the food community and beyond.

  2. Thanks! I just approved your blog claim. Now your Urbanspoon profile picture is displayed on your blog page. You can upload a blog-specific photo if you prefer, and can change a few other blog settings there. Also, if you vote for a restaurant that you’ve reviewed on your blog, we now show your vote next to your post everywhere on our site.
